Joaquín Piñero is –NEGATIVO, one of the most suggestive VJ’s in the Andalusian scene. He got this great reputation last year, when winning a young artist’s contest. Last night, however, he left behind the usual continuous showing of images, making a broken session with visual themes of two or three minutes. The whole maybe was narratively weak, but it was also more consistent and shocking.

The return to a textual sense in a VJ’s show was the surprising starting point for DJ Hidráulico’s performance. Behind this pseydonimous is Brazilian cultural producer Daniel González, who last night tried to carry us on “a trip through the hydraulic laws of music”. The discourse coming from the images talked mainly about information channels; about the need to weave underground, subterranean and invisible nets so that information won’t be controlled by the official sources.
